Hey! My name is Sima and I am a visual designer based in Calgary, Alberta. I got my Bachelors of Global Business and Digital Arts degree at the University of Waterloo in April 2021, where I learned various skills of digital design through the use of Adobe Creative Cloud. During my time at university, I worked as a Graphic Designer at GAM Realty, Inc., Brokerage. During my time here, I designed complex and eye-catching posters, flyers & campaigns which boosted client engagement. After completing my studies, I began working as an Illustrator & Graphic Designer at Loonie Times for 3+ years. Our top clients were made up of fortune 500 companies such as Disney, Amazon, Unilever, and many more! From creating custom characters, crafting detailed concept art and designing accessories for mascot characters.

 

I have an immense devotion about creating and designing digital & traditional art, whether it be for a company I am working for, or as a hobby. Art has been my absolute passion throughout my whole life from being inspired by childhood animated TV shows to movies. These interests allowed me to begin creating my own stories, hence the work shown on my website are all original characters on a personal project of an epic fantasy story that I am currently working on.
